Puerto Vallarta came sixth in The 10 Friendliest Cities in the World list

By Tribune Travel

November 24, 2023

Puerto Vallarta earned the sixth friendliest city in the world spot in the Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2023. In its edition number 36, this list has Sydney, Australia; Edinburgh, Scotland; Quebec City, Canada; Dublin, Ireland; and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada above Puerto Vallarta, Victoria being number one.

Meanwhile, Kyoto, Japan; Lisbon, Portugal; Cape Town, South Africa; and Porto, Portugal all came below Puerto Vallarta.

This nomination is due to its excellent attention and hospitality to visitors, as well as its wide variety of outdoor activities, beaches and nightlife. It is also the only destination in Mexico and Latin America to appear on this exclusive list.

In addition to this ranking, the same magazine recently included Puerto Vallarta in the list of “Best Small Cities in the World” for its tourist offer through the exceptional experiences and advice of the most demanding travelers.

Thus, the destination of Puerto Vallarta is now part of a select group of cities worldwide where a wide range of services and experiences can be found, including a cultural billboard with the highest catrina in the world, high level gastronomy with a wide range of flavors and cuisines, a beautiful bay surrounded by mountains, nature with a coastline of more than 110 kilometers of beaches to discover and experience.
