According to data from the National Port System Administration (Asipona) of this city, even though it is low season for international cruise ships in Puerto Vallarta, this destination has welcomed more than 327 thousand passengers in 107 ships in the first five months of the year, exceeding the numbers of 2022 for the same period.

A little over 90 thousand people traveled on 32 cruise ships in January of this year. Over 60 thousand people traveled on 19 cruise ships in February. In March, the post hosted 72 thousand 537 tourists on 22 ships.

With 62,165 tourists aboard 21 cruise ships in April, the high season continued. In May, the number of cruise passengers started to decline with over 42,000 aboard 13 ships. Only 5 ships will arrive in Puerto Vallarta in June.

In terms of 2022, 179 thousand passengers were registered in 91 foreign cruise ships in the first five months of the year, thus there would be a difference of more than 148 thousand cruise passengers between the two years.

It is important to note that Puerto Vallarta is a 100% tourist port distinguished by its high level of specialization and excellence in the service provided to visiting international cruise ships.
