Puerto Vallarta promoted in the Spanish market by Fidetur

According to Luis Antonio VillaseƱor Nolasco, director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, last week they conducted some activities with business partners from Spain as part of the tourism promotion actions, taking advantage of the flight from Madrid to Guadalajara and thereby generating more sales and luring luxury tourism to this destination.

They first met with AVASA, a group of travel agencies in Spain that sells high-end in order to attract luxury and niche audiences (tourism more linked to the experience). The tour operator mentioned that the activities were carried out in conjunction with a delegation of tourism from Guadalajara.

Through a partner with whom they are collaborating on marketing campaigns, World2meet, they also met with a group of press and influencers in Madrid.

As well as Lastminute, which is an online sales platform we are working with to attract audiences both in Spain, Holland, and England, which is where it has presence; we were training their sales force.

He also emphasized that the Puerto Vallarta brand could be seen on the screens of Madrid’s renowned Gran Via.

On the other hand, VillaseƱor Nolasco commented that they are also carrying out promotional actions in the domestic market, so this week they will be in Guadalajara, next month in Mexico City, also in Chihuahua, Torreon, Culiacan and Mexicali.

Also, they are doing some events in the United States in order to attract market audiences where they have flights all year round, as is the case of Texas.
