Puerto Vallarta reached 95% hotel occupancy over long weekend
Over the course of this long weekend, this tourist destination saw an average hotel occupancy rate of 95%. From Friday through Monday, more than 300 aviation operations from both the domestic and international markets were recorded at this city’s international airport.
This serves as a lead-in to the beginning of the fall-winter season, which starts with the Thanksgiving holiday and will likely see a robust operation over the final weekend of November. Over 90% of rooms at the resort are already booked for this long weekend in the United States.
At the airport in Puerto Vallarta, 78 operations were recorded on Friday, 89 on Saturday, 91 on Sunday, the day with the most flights, and 71 on Monday, both domestically and internationally.
Furthermore, Vallarta outperformed other seaside resorts, according to the Federal Ministry of Tourism.
