Luis Villaseñor Nolasco, director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, announced that the destination is ready for the winter holiday season, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, with hotel occupancy rates ranging from 85 to 100%.

The tour operator highlighted that in December alone, the hotel occupancy rate is expected to be more than 75%, and even today, a new flight will arrive in the city with Alaska Airlines from Las Vegas, “which will increase our connectivity and there will already be 24 cities from the United States”.

On the other hand, Villaseñor Nolasco emphasized that this winter season the market that will arrive in its majority is mainly North American, from the United States and Canada; but also the domestic tourists, especially travelers by road, so the component will be 70% international and 30% domestic.

As for the recommendations for tourists and locals is to comply with the indications of the government authorities, to buy their tickets for a tour of the bay in authorized places, as well as to respect the beaches in terms of cleanliness.
