Puerto Vallarta unaffected by Hurricane Norma

Puerto Vallarta has not been affected by Hurricane Norma as the meteor downgraded from category 4 to 2 this Friday.

The port was closed to navigation as a preventative measure.  Cruise ship Navigator of the Seas cancelled its arrival scheduled for today.

Only light rains have been recorded as of time of edition. However, authorities recommend caution as Norma is still near on its way.

That the hurricane passed by along the coast came as a relief to inhabitants of the Banderas Bay surrounings, as just last week Hurricane Lidia hit the area, causing great damages to power and communications infrastructure.
