Road Closures and Traffic Changes in Puerto Vallarta for Independence Day Celebrations

In preparation for the Independence Day Grito ceremony on Sunday, September 15th, significant adjustments to traffic patterns will be implemented in Puerto Vallarta.
Starting at 7:00 a.m., Morelos Street will be closed between Galeana Street and Guerrero Street.
Additionally, Juárez Street will temporarily operate as a two-way street from Corona Street to Libertad Street to facilitate the flow of vehicles.
Public Transportation Adjustments
For those arriving from the north, access will be limited to Panamá Street, near the Ley store, with the return route via Colombia Street.
From the south, entry will be allowed through Aguacate Street, with the return on Basilio Vadillo Street leading back to the highway.
Residents and visitors planning to visit downtown Puerto Vallarta on Sunday are advised to take these closures and traffic changes into account to avoid disruptions.

The Independence Day Grito ceremony will be held from the main balcony of Puerto Vallarta’s City Hall.
