April 21, 2023

On April 20 and 21, the Interconnecting Smart Cities Forum will be held in Los Cabos. Among the topics to be discussed at the forum are the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to improve mobility in tourist cities, as well as the application of strategies that allow for better traffic management and the reduction of polluting emissions.

This event is part of the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which seeks an action plan to improve the quality of life for people, care for the planet and promote prosperity. It also aims to strengthen global peace and access to justice.

The Smart Cities project seeks to have a direct impact on citizens so that they can take full advantage of technology and artificial intelligence in the environment where they live and visit. The II Mayor of Los Cabos, Irene Galindo Roman, explained that the intention of these forums is to improve the environment for residents and tourists of the destination.

Mobility is one of the main challenges for the authorities of Cabo San Lucas due to its population and economic growth. The event will be attended by experts in the fields of technology, transportation and tourism, who will share their knowledge and experience in the search for solutions to improve the experience of tourists in the cities.
