The 6th PV Surfcasting Shore Fishing Tournament is coming

The sixth edition of the Surfcasting Vallarta Shore Fishing Tournament will take place on the Malecon of Puerto Vallarta on April 30 with a large number of anglers from the area.

This competition has been a great success throughout its history and has become a favorite among anglers who enjoy an exciting day on the beach at the Malecon.

Registration is open and costs 350 pesos, closing one hour before the competition. Participants will be entitled to a commemorative T-shirt, although they are limited to one hundred, so they should register in time to reach the gift offered by the organizing committee.

The tournament will be a one-day event, with a schedule from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the venue will be the Malecon of Puerto Vallarta, right at Los Arcos. Anglers must be at the meeting point at Los Arcos del Malecon at five in the morning to complete their registration and receive their official event t-shirts.

There is no category of fish in this tournament, only manta rays and other fish in danger of extinction are banned. To compete for the first places, the minimum weight must be one kilogram and the prizes will be 25 thousand pesos in cash for the first place, 10 thousand for the second place and fishing equipment for the third place.
