Tourist boats in Vallarta have carried almost 460K passengers

Puerto Vallarta transported nearly 460 thousand passengers between January and August 2023 in a little more than 26 thousand tourist boats. Tours take berthing and unberthing from the docks of the maritime terminal under the control of the National Port System Administration (Asipona) of this city into account,

The tourist trips to places like Los Arcos de Mismaloya, Quimixto, Yelapa, and Las Animas, among others, are one of the attractions in Puerto Vallarta that are in higher demand. For these tours, the numbers from 2022 have been surpassed this year in terms of both boats and people.

According to the Asipona report, only 63,414 passengers and 3,600 excursions were recorded in January; 54,819 tourists took 3,134 tours in February; and 61,510 people took 3,652 tours by the bay in March.

A little under 62,000 people took 3,207 tours in April; nearly 49,000 took 3,133 tours in May; 53,222 people took 3,150 tours in June; 64,218 people took 3,208 tours in July; and 52,305 people took 2,950 tours in August.
