This Wednesday afternoon, lifeguards from the State Civil Protection Unit rescued a man from drowning at Camarones Beach in Puerto Vallarta.

The lifeguards were making a tour of the area when they noticed a person having difficulty getting out of the water because he was caught in a rip current, so they went to rescue him.

First, they asked him not to fight the current and to stop struggling and just let go.

When they reached where he was, they secured him and brought him safely to shore, he was just tired from fighting the current.

It has been reported that the beaches of the bay have been experiencing an increase in waves and rip currents for days, endangering those who come to enjoy a swim in the sea.

In these conditions, it is not feasible to go swimming, especially if you do not know the sea or do not know how to swim.
