Vallarta adds one more flight from AIFA with VivaAerobus

October 03, 2023

As of April 2024, Viva Aerobus will launch a new route from Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta. It will be a daily flight that will cover the Holy Week and Easter vacation season, according to Luis Villaseor Nolasco, director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust.

There will already be three airlines flying to Puerto Vallarta from Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA): Volaris, Aeromexico, and Viva Aerobus. The tour operator expressed their satisfaction with this new route.

The new flight will have a daily frequency, and the director of Fidetur highlighted that there are high hopes for it. In contrast, he said that there will be a plentiful supply of connections because 27 new routes will begin flying from AIFA in December 2023 to other locations.

Promotion in domestic markets will also keep going so that flights arrive full. It is important to note that this airline has stated that starting in December of this year, it would operate flights from Mexico City to Guadalajara, Ciudad Juarez, Merida, and Tulum.
