Puerto Vallarta has been featured at the International Tourism Fair in Madrid, Spain

During the events at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid, Spain, the Jalisco delegation, which included representatives from the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, engaged in discussions with Expedia, a prominent player in online travel, to deliberate on promotional strategies for the upcoming year.

Vanessa Pérez Lamas, the Secretary of Tourism for Jalisco, shared updates on the second day’s activities through her social media. They commenced with a meeting involving Viajes el Corte Inglés, in partnership with Aeroméxico and the Visitors and Conventions Bureau. The session involved a review of the achievements from their previous collaborative campaign and explored fresh opportunities for continued promotion of Jalisco’s tourist destinations.

Subsequently, the delegation convened with Expedia to enhance the visibility of inland destinations and Magical Towns. Collaborative strategies were discussed, focusing on anchor destinations like Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara.

Furthermore, they held discussions with Avasa, a prominent entity in the Spanish travel agency sector. The evaluation of campaign results with the Visitors and Conventions Bureau took place, and new avenues for collaboration were explored to further promote the tourist attractions of Jalisco.
