The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (REDi), which must be ready this year and may begin operations as early as 2023, will start getting equipped next month. The city’s business community will gain from having this area.

The Convention Center of this city will be outfitted by the Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology of Jalisco and the Ministry of Tourism of the State, giving entrepreneurs and businessmen a physical space where they can have meetings, coworking strategies, and conferences, as they will have private and open rooms so they can conduct business.

The weekly training sessions are set to start; as part of the preparation, there will be a cycle of in-person training sessions at the Mismaloya hall. These materials will be provided in the REDi.

Beginning on November 15, the refurbishment will take 45 days to complete, with construction wrapping up on December 31. Since it will be a remodeling, these alterations are not too difficult, and by 45 days it must be furnished and ready for use.

The investment could exceed 10 million pesos, but it will be a very useful space for the chambers of commerce and business. The space will be free of charge and rooms can be scheduled online. The alternate lobby area of the CIC, which has 370 m², will be enabled.
