Puerto Vallarta will have an excellent end to the year, with hotel occupancy close to 100% and the most important days of the holiday season – next weekend – practically full, and there is no doubt that the expectations of the hotel and tourism sector will be met.

According to reservation reports from the destination’s hotel companies, since the first week of the holiday, which ended with Christmas, an average occupancy rate of around 90 percent has been achieved, but it will continue to increase and is expected to reach 100 percent by 2024.

The last month of the year turns out to be a great one for Puerto Vallarta, with visitors representing a great economic success; the presence of tourists is numerous, especially on the beaches, the Malecon, the Romantic Zone and Marina Vallarta; the formal commercial sector also reported an increase in sales due to the Christmas celebration.

In addition to the large number of tourists arriving in Puerto Vallarta by air and road, there are other sectors that bring in a large number of visitors, such as the international tourist cruises, which are experiencing their high season, with boats arriving every week with a large number of passengers.
