Vallarta welcomed more than 687,000 air passengers during January

According to the monthly report of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), Puerto Vallarta recorded air passenger traffic of 687,100 during January 2023, an increase of 46.5% over the same month in 2022.

As for the domestic market, this airport precinct received over 226,000 passengers, 39.5% more than the same period last year, which was 162,000. Meanwhile, from the international market, this destination registered 460,900 visitors, which is, 50.3% in comparison to 2022.

In comparison to the same month in 2022, total passenger traffic at the 12 GAP airports in Mexico increased nationwide in January 2023 by 30.0%.

It is important to note that the hotel industry reports that Puerto Vallarta had a 90% occupancy rate over the previous holiday weekend.
