Yacht capsized in front of Puerto Vallarta Malecon

This Wednesday afternoon, a tourist yacht capsized in front of the Puerto Vallarta Malecon, carrying passengers who were rescued by other boats.

The yacht was towed to the marina where it would be taken for repair.

It is the boat called “Catalina” that suffered damage to its structure, which caused it to begin sinking.

So far, the authorities no injured passengers have been reported.

A video shows people, including some children, being rescued by sailors from other boats to safety.
