October 2025

Puerto Vallarta has always been a place of great stories, romance, and
adventure—where travellers from around the world converge to feel its vibrant energy.
This October, the power of story ignites as the authors of Wanderlust Chronicles:
Transformative Travel Tales, a women-written anthology, celebrate the success of their
bestselling book with stories of courage, discovery, and transformation at the Women
Who Travel Networking Event, taking place at Langostinos Restaurant & Bar, right
on the iconic Playa Los Muertos beach.

Set for Sunday, October 26 at 4 PM, the evening promises to be an unforgettable mix
of storytelling, live music, and meaningful conversation—where creativity meets
community as the night ends in a breathtaking sunset over the bay. Hosted by Jessy
Ruiz, radio personality and host of ASPHALT on Radiante 98.3 FM, the event invites
travelers, expats, and women in the tourism industry to come together, share
experiences, and build lasting connections.

Guests will hear from the Wanderlust Chronicles authors as they share insights from
their journeys—personal stories that span continents and cultures. Themes include The
Genius of Gathering, The Power of Saying Yes, Finding Stillness in the Heart of
Adventure, and Every Lived Moment Tells a Story. Each one reminds us that travel isn’t
just about where we go, but who we become along the way.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Duncan Shadrack, a Kentucky-born singer-
songwriter who now makes his home in Puerto Vallarta, will perform live throughout the
evening. His soulful mix of country, R&B, and Jimmy Buffett-style beach music will get
people off their chairs and dancing in the sand—setting the tone for a fun-filled night of
inspiration and connection.

“Puerto Vallarta is one of the most inspiring destinations in the world for women
travellers—safe, welcoming, and alive with possibility,” says Teena Clipston, publisher
and founder of Wanderlust Chronicles. “This event is a celebration of travel,
transformation, and the power of following your heart.”

The Women Who Travel Networking Event is free and open to all. Guests in the
travel industry are encouraged to bring business cards and flyers to share, enjoy dinner
and drinks à la carte, and join a growing community of women united by wanderlust.
Hosted by Clipston Publishing, supported by CPS Media and ASPHALT Radio,
and sponsored by Zendy Wendy, founder of The Elevated Female Entrepreneur. We
look forward to seeing you there.
