Mexican boxer “Canelo Alvarez” got married at Punta de Mita

Seven days after the victory against Billy Joe Sanders, boxer Saúl “El Canelo” Álvarez married Fernanda Gómez in Punta de Mita, Nayarit. The ceremony took place at Imanta Resort.

Instagram user chamonic3 posted videos and stories of the wedding. The whitey sands of the Nayarit destination were witnesses of the civil ceremony where Canelo and Fernanda Gómez became partners for life.

Canelo’s partner, Fernanda Gómez, is a 24-year-old model from Guadalajara who is also the mother of her young daughter. She promotes apparel and footwear labels on her Instagram account, which has over 300,000 followers. She frequently uses social media to show off her workout routine and to post videos and photographs from her exotic holidays.

The dress

While El Canelo wore a plain beige suit, Fernanda Gómez wore a stunning dress created by renowned Mexican designer Benito Santos, which featured double lace and bare shoulders and neck.

The dress’s train was about two meters long and suspended from the center of her back.

Rumors are circulating about the religious ceremony, which will likely take place on May 22.
