Invitation to San Pancho’s gastronomic festival

San Pancho will have the opportunity to select its culinary delights in July as the Banderas Bay Tourism Department continues to look for the most delectable and distinctive dishes of each town.

The event, which will take place on July 21 and has already attracted a number of confirmed participants, was invited to Bahians by the area’s director, Jorge Garcia.

“We are already in the preparations, we are three weeks away, but we are already having participants, we have 25 spaces to be able to invite 25 restaurants, bars and cafes that want to participate, presenting their dish in the gastronomic festival. We already have some confirmed, around 7 or 8 restaurants and my colleagues are already in San Pancho inviting more people”, he said.

This festival is the third of its kind, after the first edition was held in Valle Dorado, where tortas ahogadas won, and Sayulita, where an aguachile won.

A margarita competition is also being planned, this tequila-based drink that is so popular with locals and visitors alike, although planning is still underway. Tentatively, it would be held on July 28, with headquarters in Sayulita.

In Banderas Bay, the identity of each locality is being sought, as they are very different from one another and food is the vehicle with which this route will begin to be traced.
