Wine tasting by Marival Group at Mozzamare

Marival Group organized the first Spring Wine Tasting at Mozzamare Beach Club to celebrate Malbec World Day and to learn and promote about the latest innovations in the field of viticulture in Mexico and worldwide.
Attendants delighted in a soiree of music, cheese and cold cuts tables, desserts, author cocktails, and a selection of Malbec wines.
Daphne Hernández, General Manager of Marival Hotels in Nuevo Vallarta, said that after this first event’s success, they will have four a year to invite tourists and general public to taste not only wines and labels, but also a gastronomic variety by the chefs working in their hotels.
“The labels we carry today are from important makers; we are featuring many wines with high-level international awards. Everybody will be pleased with the diversity of wines and food”, she added.Diners enjoyed pairings of the wines and the specialties made by Executive Chef José Alfredo Jiménez. Winemakers present in the event were Casa Madero, Bodega Renacer, Zuccardi Valle de Uco, Ventisquero, Bodega Norton, Riviera Wine & Spirits y Terrazas de los Andes.
Chef Jimenez was satisfied with the event as it was the first of its kind. More will come to pamper tourists and locals alike. Marival Group complied with the necessary sanitary measures in accordance with its commitment to its guests’ health.
Salvador Ramos, Sales and Marketing Vice President of Marival group, said the group has started 2021 on the right foot; “our events and activities have always been outstanding within Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta, and this wine tasting is no exception”.
Special guests were Marival Group’s President and General Director Alfonso Rizzuto, who spent a lovely evening with his family; Marc Murphy, General Director of Riviera Nayarit’s Hotel Association; Jorge Villanueva, President of Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas Business Association; as well as Jesús Carmona, President of Riviera Nayarit’s Hotel Association.
