1: Cancún, Mexico

Cancun is the most well-liked foreign vacation spot for Americans thanks to its deliciously warm climate and enticing beaches. You might encounter traditional Mexican holiday celebrations in addition to the sun and fun that the majority of visitors seek. In Valladolid’s historic district, Iglesia de San Servacio has a nativity scene and holiday decorations.

2: San José del Cabo, Mexico

Travelers who avoid the large resorts of nearby Cabo San Lucas have quickly made this beautiful community in Baja California their go-to getaway destination. The whale-watching season starts on December 15 when humpback whales arrive after making their yearly migration from colder waters.

5: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

The 12 days of La Guadalupana, when people honor the Virgin of Guadalupe, are one of the most important holidays in Puerto Vallarta. In the heart of Puerto Vallarta, Juarez Street is the scene of countless parades.

This resort city on Mexico’s western coast offers a ton of excitement in December, even if you do not make it to La Guadalupana. Visit the numerous craft markets, go snorkeling or kayaking in Los Arcos Marine Park, or stroll the Malecon Boardwalk.
