Hospiten Cancun, two decades of excellence in health care

Hospiten Cancun, the hospital that established its presence in this region two decades ago, is gearing up to celebrate a significant milestone.

This commemoration not only marks the hospital’s history but also its unwavering dedication to the community and the region by providing exceptional medical care. Hospiten has thrived since its inception in Cancun and has emerged as a prominent healthcare provider in the area.

The months of October and November are dedicated to commemorative festivities, which include an emotional thank you breakfast as a gesture of gratitude to the community that warmly welcomed them at the start of their journey.

The breakfast was attended by: Perla Aguilar Lara, General Director of the Institute of Social and Solidarity Economy on behalf of Mara Lezama, Governor of the State of Quintana Roo; Audelia Villarreal, Director of Ayuda a Corazón de Niño AC and Senator of the Republic in the 64th and 65th legislatures; Victor Gutierrez, deputy director of the Secretary of Health of the State of Quintana Roo; Mtro. Hector Gonzalez Rodriguez, representing the General Directorate of Public Health of the Benito Juarez City Hall; consular representatives from different countries, as well as prominent members of the hotel sector and civil associations in the state.

However, the celebration does not stop here. With a solemn act of recognition at its facilities, Hospiten Cancun also honored the staff that has been a fundamental part of its success since its inauguration. This event is not only a tribute to the past, but also a vote of confidence in the future, as the hospital continues to be a point of reference in medical care in the region.

The executive president of the Hospiten Group, Juan José Hernández, has demonstrated unwavering dedication by traveling from Spain to participate in the festivities. Additionally, the occasion in Playa del Carmen will serve as a commemoration of the Hospiten Riviera Maya staff’s remarkable 15 years of service.

To enhance the celebrations, Hospiten has developed an invigorating agenda of events for the employees in Cancun and Riviera Maya. This agenda encompasses a range of instructional sessions and hands-on workshops that aim to encourage overall well-being, both physically and emotionally, while also fostering a sense of unity in a laid-back environment.

The Hospiten Group commemorates a significant milestone as they celebrate the anniversary of their first hospital in Mexico, located in Cancun. This momentous occasion marks the beginning of their successful expansion to other cities in the Mexican Republic, including Playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta, San Jose del Cabo, and Cabo San Lucas. This expansion resulted in a total of five medical centers.
