Viva Aerobus announces new route Puerto Vallarta-CDMX via AIFA

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco; Hermosillo, Sonora; Mazatlan, Sinaloa; and Zihuatanejo, Guerrero are the four cities that will have new routes to and from Mexico City’s Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA). The announcement was made by Viva Aerobus.

With this, the new Mexico City airport, with only 13 months of operation, will have 11 destinations to and from the air terminal.

It was through its official social networks that the airline announced the new routes. They also said they would increase flights to other destinations due to the “good results they have had”. The following cities will see new flights: Puerto Escondido and the capital of Oaxaca; Acapulco, Guerrero; Tijuana, Baja California; and, Cancun, Quintana Roo.

In terms of dates, Viva Aerobus announced that all new routes will begin service on July 2, 2023, with the exception of Puerto Vallarta, which will begin service on July 15.
