Business Contact Center to be launched in Vallarta’s REDi
The Secretary of Economic Development of Jalisco, Roberto Arechederra Pacheco, announced that in the next few weeks, a Business Contact Center will be inaugurated in the REDi of Puerto Vallarta, making this destination the first municipality to have two of them to serve the entire business community of the region.
Last month, the eleventh headquarters of the Network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centers (REDi) was inaugurated at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center.

Seapal plans to build a dam on the Mismaloya River to increase potable water supply
Rigoberto Velázquez Navarro, operating director of the Puerto Vallarta Water, Sewerage and Sanitation System, SEAPAL, confirmed that they are planning to build a dam or reservoir in the Mismaloya River to increase the flow and supply of potable water in the southern zone of the city, a work that was supposed to begin last Wednesday, but the residents protested and prevented the passage of the machinery.

May celebrations boost restaurant sales in La Paz
Restaurants in the city had 100% occupancy during the Mother’s Day and Teachers’ Day celebrations. This was announced by David Gracia Hinojosa, president of the National Chamber of Restaurants and Catering (CANIRAC) in La Paz. The businessman mentioned that these were the data thrown by the survey conducted among the merchants affiliated with the chamber after such celebrations.

Blue Flag beaches in Los Cabos undergoing annual verification process
The government of Los Cabos is in the process of reviewing the international beach standards for the period 2023, a process developed by Blue Flag Mexico staff.
During the first day of work, the Riu Place, Riu Santa Fe, Riu Palace Baja California, Villa del Palmar, Villa La Estancia and Villa del Arco beaches in Cabo San Lucas and the Tourist Corridor were audited.

120 tourist shelters in Cancun ready for hurricane season
A total of 120 shelters are almost ready to protect tourists, if necessary, during the 2023 hurricane season, which begins on June 1 in the Atlantic.
Antonio Riveroll Ribbon, director of Civil Protection of the Benito Juarez municipality, explained that they are carrying out verification work. The hotel shelters are different from those activated for the entire population.

El Mangle to become Quintana Roo’s new protected natural area
The decree for the creation of the new Natural Reserve of El Mangle, in Puerto Morelos, will be published this year.
The reserve will have an extension of 505.2 hectares, with large wetlands, habitat of diverse fauna such as crocodiles, striped iguanas, spider monkeys, among others.
