Cancun to set up Walkins Tours Stores
Cancun is considering the installation of modern “booths” for the public and private attention of visitors to the destination. These structures, called “Walkins Tours Store”, will have an interior area of 9 square meters and will provide space for the Federal, State and Municipal Tourism Offices to assign trained personnel to provide free assistance and official information about all the destinations in Quintana Roo and the other states that make up the Maya Train route: Yucatan, Campeche, Tabasco and Chiapas.
In addition, foreign visitors will be informed in their own language about the environmental efforts of the project, such as the planting of millions of trees and the construction of wildlife crossings, all through tactile panels and videos.
