This Wednesday, Puerto Vallarta registered the second double arrival of the month, with the arrival of the Carnival Panorama and the Norwegian Bliss, with more than 8 thousand passengers and over 3 thousand crew members, which generated an economic revenue of almost 19 million pesos.

The first ship to arrive in Puerto Vallarta was the Carnival Panorama, which was docked at pier three of the maritime terminal with 4,296 passengers and 1,414 crew members; and after midday the Norwegian Bliss docked at pier one, with 3,859 passengers and 1,697 crew members.

During this Wednesday’s arrival, tourists were able to enjoy a few hours in the city either walking on the boardwalk, taking a tour, visiting the market or some commercial stores.

The port community authorities were there, as it is customary for all vessel arrival operations. They verified the cruise ships and its passengers’ travel documentation to ensure the safety of the ship, the maritime-port community, and the local populace.

The following arrival, a triple one, is scheduled for Wednesday, November 15.

It is crucial to keep in mind that in 2022, 109 cruise ships have brought more than 255 thousand tourists to Puerto Vallarta, more than doubling the number of visitors from 2021. It is anticipated that another 51 cruise ships will dock there before the year is over.
