Everything ready to eat and drink on the coast of Banderas Bay

Banderas Bay continues to search for its most ingrained attributes that identify each town and during two consecutive weekends, the coastal area will have events to which everyone is invited.

On July 21, the Gastronomic Festival will take place in the town of San Pancho, an event with which they intend to find the richest and most representative dish of this town.

A weekend later, on July 28, an event will be held in Sayulita to find the most demanded drink.

Jorge Garcia, Banderas Bay’s tourism director, gave the details of these events.

“On this occasion, on the 21st of this month, already next Friday, we have the gastronomic festival in San Pancho, where we are inviting all the restaurateurs and all of you so that this Friday, starting at 5 in the afternoon, go and enjoy the gastronomy we have there (…. ) But we also have an important event that we were originally going to call ‘The richest margarita in Sayulita’, but we decided to look for the Banderas Bay drink, the Banderas Bay cocktail, so that we can have an emblematic drink that we can promote”, he said.

The gastronomic event would already be the third, after it was held in Valle Dorado, where a torta ahogada won, and in Sayulita, where an aguachile was the winning dish.

With these activities, the municipality continues searching for its identity, which will be promoted in the different national fairs that will take place this year.
