Gala Riviera Nayarit – Puerto Vallarta is coming in February

The 28th Gala Riviera Nayarit-Puerto Vallarta will take place on February 16 and 17, with the participation of more than 70 national and international tourism businesspeople from Canada, Spain, the United States, and Mexico, as well as a little more than 100 hotels in the area, and an estimated 1,500 business meetings that will boost these destinations.

According to the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, the purpose of this event is to increase the number of national and international visitors to the city and its surrounding area.

Important commercial agreements will be signed during these two days that will benefit the industry while also promoting its air and land connectivity, infrastructure, new developments, and tourism offerings for segments such as sun and beach, romance, gastronomy, LGBTQ+, ecotourism, and luxury, to name a few.

There will be pavilions in this edition where the Magical Towns of Jalisco and Nayarit will present participants a little of their fantastic tourist offer. There will also be a pavilion for the state’s tourism offer, which will feature Guadalajara, Costalegre, and Ribera de Chapala, who will present the variety of possibilities available to travelers.

As Bahía de Banderas is hosting the event this year, the business venue will be the Vidanta Convention Centre. In addition, this year’s event will be titled Riviera Nayarit first, followed by Puerto Vallarta. In previous years, the name was Puerto Vallarta-Riviera Nayarit disregarding the central venue.

Gala is an event of great importance and tradition for the entire tourism industry of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, which seeks to work together between tour operators and entrepreneurs in order to promote tourism development in the area.
