Adventure in the desert

Santiago, a small but lovely village forty minutes north of San José del Cabo, was the site of the first Jesuit mission in 1723. Local guides lead tours of the town, discussing the history of the area, before visiting the Santiago Oasis viewpoint, a big body of water that is home to a diverse range of desert plant that erupts from the aquifers.
Ecotourism in Sol de Mayo
The final part of the Santiago experience is at the Sol de Mayo Ecological Ranch, which is located in the Sierra de la Laguna Biosphere Reserve. This park is a must for visitors who enjoy contact with nature or who want to explore its adventurous version. it includes an outdoor environment with waterfalls and natural pools of mountain water, the most famous of which is the Cañón de la Zorra.
Extreme thrills in the mountain
Los Cabos has a range of paths with varying degrees of difficulty for individuals who enjoy hiking and mountain riding. El Picacho, at 7,000 meters above sea level, is the most difficult ascent; from there, there are easier trekking paths, such as El Refugio. Bikers can get their fill of adrenaline with Rancho Cacachilas‘ routes and luxury equipment across the desert, mountains, and beach.
