The employees of the hotel sector are the key to obtaining the Gold Crown Awards from RCI, a global vacation exchange company, which grants these awards based on surveys filled out by guests visiting the resorts.

Alejandro Meza, General Manager of Almar Resort, one of the first to receive the RCI award during this week of awards, said he was proud to receive this recognition, especially for his employees.

The most important thing, said Alejandro Meza, is to have dedicated staff who love their work, so they are motivated to do a good job and provide excellent service, which translates into outstanding comments about their experience in a development.

On the other hand, the Hotel Plaza Pelicanos also received the Gold Crown recognition, its director, Richard Valán, commented that the hotel business is a vocation and it is important that all those involved in the sector carry out their work with passion.

On the last stop of the first day of the awards ceremony, RCI representatives visited the Golden Shores Vacation Club at the Crown Paradise Hotel, where they presented three Diamond diplomas to the most outstanding employees, including Mirella Ortega Martin, the club’s project manager.

Diamond Award recipients receive a free week’s stay at one of RCI’s 4,300 affiliated resorts worldwide.
