Repairs are being made to the La Paz malecon, as many areas have deteriorated due to use and even the materials used in its construction.

The Port Authority will invest approximately 10 million pesos in these works, a budget that includes the repair and repainting of the emblematic letters of “La Paz” located on the seafront at the level of the Arreola Avenue.

The emblematic letters of “La Paz” were installed for the first time in the coastal promenade on October 25, 2016, had a total cost of 170 thousand pesos and was the work of a sculptor originally from the state capital.
