Loba Artisan Beer featured all April at Café des Artistes

As part of the events, you can enjoy a free beer tasting at P’yote Bar. Seven different kinds of beer will be there for you to enjoy while the Loba specialists provide all the information you need to appreciate the nuances and special characteristics of every beer. These tasting have no cost, but confirmation in advance is required.

The highlight of the month will take place on Thursday April 29 with the Loba Tasting Dinner, a special offering of creations by the chefs of Café des Artistes Group spearheaded by Thierry Blouet:

• Lara Castellón, Executive Chef of Café des Artistes Pueto Vallarta
• Ramón Álvarez, Executive Chef of Tuna Blanca
• Mario Rodríguez, Executive Chef of Café des Artistes Los Cabos
• Florencio Reyes, Sous Chef of Café des Artistes Puerto Vallarta
• Nancy Hernández, Chef Patissier of Café des Artistes Puerto Vallarta

Each chef will be creating a course to be paired with one of Loba’s beers.  Welcome cocktail is included, and reservation is required.

ANTONIO COLLANTEZ’S NEW MURAL IS DONE AND UP

Tony Collantez is the author of Mexican Diva, the mural adorning the famous tower on the corner of Guadalupe Sánchez and Leona Vicario streets. He has been painting its walls for the last few years and this time he has reached to the other side of the restaurant, to the exterior wall on Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez street.

His new work features a thousand shades of different colors and has a very special characteristic: what you see at plain sight is different from what the lens of your camera reads. The mural will be officially unveiled on May 19 during the “Coctel entre Cuates” cocktail, but you can admire it now. It is really a sight to behold!
