Another trail with mountain, beach and a viewpoint towards the sea, is called Sendero del Mirador or Playa del Toro, in the town of Los Ayala,

The most famous viewpoint in Puerto Vallarta is the Mirador del Cerro de La Cruz, starting point located on El Malecón.

For those who like short and easy trails and little-crowded beaches, we have Playa del Barro, which is at least an hour away from Puerto Vallarta.

I headed back up the mountain to complete the circuit around Stocking and Heart lakes.

I am spending a few days at Ladysmith on Vancouver Island, Canada. Behind the house where I am staying there is a trail to Lake Stocking.

You must visit Cerro del Mono if it is a matter of challenging yourself a bit, and of varying inclinations and scenes on the route.
