Marina Vallarta docks with 98% occupancy rate
With an occupancy rate of 98 percent in its 355 slips, Marina Vallarta is experiencing an excellent extended winter season, supported by its wide range of services and because it has become a home port for numerous ships making Pacific cruises after the pandemic.
In an interview, Pablo Fernandez Gonzalez, general manager and harbormaster of Marina Vallarta, emphasized that the pandemic effect benefited this area, since it became a “parking lot” for boats.

All set for the second edition of the Mexico Open At Vidanta
The Vidanta Vallarta Golf Course will be the perfect setting for the second edition of the Mexico Open At Vidanta. This is one of the most important golf tournaments on the PGA Tour, with the participation of the most important golfers in the world.
In an interview, Ricardo Cortés, Director of the Mexico Open At Vidanta, talked about the organization involved in this world-class event. It currently involves about 50 people working on the set-up and supervision; however, in the next few days there will be about 3,000 people, including organizers, staff and volunteers.

Committee created to promote medical tourism in Quintana Roo
As part of the actions to promote medical tourism in Quintana Roo, the Ministry of Tourism and the Business Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) say they will create a special committee.
Coparmex’s state president, Angelica Frias, announced that during a recent meeting between industry authorities, specialists and medical tourism entrepreneurs, they agreed to take concrete actions within the next six months to promote the industry in the state.
