A success, the CONADE Sailing Nationals in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle
Until today, May 29th, 160 athletes from 9 states of the country participated in the Nationals CONADE 2023 in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle in the category of sailing.
Last Friday morning, May 26th, from 9:00 am, the participants began to arrive at the Marina of La Cruz, where they received the previous recommendations, as well as advice from their coaches.

Jalisco’s Bicentennial Celebrated with Gastronomic Tasting in Vallarta
As part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Jalisco as a free and sovereign state, a gastronomic tasting was held last Friday at the Tecnológico Superior de Jalisco campus Puerto Vallarta.
The event was attended by the directors of the different high school and university campuses of Vallarta, who enjoyed some typical Jalisco dishes such as tortas ahogadas, pozole, birria tacos, tamales and tejuino drinks and tequila.

Baja California Sur gains popularity in new foreign markets
The popularity of Baja California Sur as a tourist destination continues to grow abroad. In this regard, the Commercial Director of the State Tourism Trust (FITUES), Sandra Felix, pointed out that they are exploring new markets: one of them is Chicago.

Sport fishing, economic generator for Baja California Sur
Juan Javier García Davis, coordinator of the Sport Fishing Tournaments of the Fund for the Protection of Marine Resources (Fonmar) in the state, revealed that a tourist who comes to fish leaves behind a daily economic income of 2,500 dollars.
This amount is five times more than what a typical tourist leaves behind when visiting the destination. This data underscores the importance of sportfishing as an economic geneartor in the region.

Cancun International Airport regarded as primary point of entry into Mexico
According to the National Institute of Migration (INM), Cancun International is the busiest airport in the country and the main point of entry. During his Wednesday visit, INM Commissioner Francisco Garduño Yáñez reported that the airport served over 13.7 million passengers during the 2022-2023 tourist season.
According to him, it is the primary point of entry into Mexico, followed by the Mexico City International Airport.

Officers in Puerto Morelos trained in LGBTTTIQ+ policing
Puerto Morelos police officers have received LGBTTTIQ+ policing training. Officers attended a course on Wednesday to advance their efforts to eliminate discrimination in all of its forms.
The Director of Sexual Diversity, Miguel Alfonso Martn Montalvo, explained that it is critical that police officers become aware of and understand the Federal Law to Prevent and Eliminate Discrimination.
