Vallarta reaches 88% hotel occupancy during long weekend
During this third long weekend of the year, Puerto Vallarta recorded an occupancy rate of 88%. This was announced by the Director of Tourism and Economic Development of the City Hall, Christian Salvador Preciado Cázares; in addition, nearly 8 thousand tourists arrived by bus.
The city official said that according to preliminary data collected, from Monday, April 24th to Thursday, April 27th, hotel occupancy in Puerto Vallarta registered an average of 78%, while from Friday, April 28th to Sunday, April 30th, it was 88%.

The diversity party is ready, Pride will take place from May 17th to 28th
Vallarta Pride celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. In a conference held at the Convention Center, the organizing committee announced that a series of activities will take place from May 17th to 28th that, although aimed at the LGBTQ community, the invitation to celebrate diversity is open to the entire community.
The celebration, with the theme “Be proud of who you are,” will feature top-notch performances by local, national and international artists. Thanks to this event, for more than a decade, the community has strengthened the culture of inclusion.

Labor Day long weekend boosts hotel occupancy to 70%
The month of May began with good expectations for the hotel industry. According to the Los Cabos Hotel Association, the destination experienced an average occupancy rate of 70% over the holiday weekend.
Lilzi Orci Fregoso, representative of the Los Cabos Hotel Association, pointed out that the long weekend brought in a significant number of national, local and especially international tourists.

New Los Cabos – Ciudad Juarez direct flight announced
The Los Cabos Tourism Board (Fiturca) and the Ministry of Tourism and Economy (Setue) of Baja California Sur have announced that the destination will expand its air service with a new direct flight between Los Cabos and Ciudad Juarez.
This new direct flight will begin on July 1 with two flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, giving passengers the opportunity to enjoy one of the most internationally recognized tourist destinations for its natural beauty.

Quintana Roo to be promoted internationally in Korea and Dubai
The Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council (CPTQ) is developing marketing campaigns for the state’s various tourist destinations, which will primarily target North Americans.
